ORDINANCE NO. 00-7-1190

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 95.58(B)

OF CHAPTER 95 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF

THE VILLAGE OF LINDENHURST, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS

 BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Lindenhurst, Lake County, Illinois, as follows: 

SECTION I:  That Section 95.58(B) of Chapter 95 of the Code of Ordinances entitled "Lake Regulations" is amended by substituting in lieu thereof a new Section 95.58(B) as follows:

 95.58(B)  Fishing on lakes within the Village is restricted as follows:

1. Lake Linden: Fishing is allowed, but large mouth bass and musky may not be permanently removed and must immediately be released back into the lake if caught.

2. Lake Potomac: Fishing is allowed starting August 1, 2000, but large mouth bass and musky may not be permanently removed and must immediately be released back into the lake if caught.

3. Springledge Lake: Fishing is allowed, but large mouth bass and musky may not be permanently removed and must immediately be released back into the lake if caught.

4. Lake Waterford: Fishing is allowed starting August 1, 2000, but large mouth bass and musky may not be permanently removed and must immediately be released back into the lake if caught.

No baitfish are allowed to be used while fishing on any lake within this Village.

SECTION II: All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

SECTION III: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
